This print is created in an art workshop, signed, numbered and limited to 150 prints, from an original botanical watercolor.The name of the clematis is of greek origin " klema" (shoot), referring to sarmenteux branches of most species. In France, it was called in the Middle Ages «beggar grass " because the beggars were rubbing their members to soften and blush people. Clematis is native of Japan and China but are scattered mostly in temperate regions of the world : there are more than 200 species, especially woody vines.
