It is native to South America, the Aztecs used it to make sauces with fish and meat ; tomato, fruit or vegetable? From a botanical point of vie , the tomato is a fruit unquestionably . However, from a culinary point of view , it is not the same sweet taste that fruit consumed as such , usually at the end of the meal, and is usually served as a vegetable salted dishes !!!
