A long history for the eggplant which would be native, more than 2000 years ago before JC, of current Burma, who was cultivated in China during the Antiquity and brought back in our parts of the country by Arabic and Persian traders in the Middle Ages. Cultivated at first as a decorative plant she is mentioned in the cookbooks only in XIX ème century. She would be a symbol of abundance, satisfaction, passionate love and fertility.This print is created in an art workshop, signed, numbered and limited to 150 prints, from an original botanical watercolor.
